You can submit your contributions here.
Please make sure that your abstract is in line with the requirements of the abstract template to ensure that it will be possible to publish it in the Genetic Resources Journal. You can find a current abstract template here.
Format of the presentation
Please draw up your presentation in PowerPoint format and send it to us. Your presentation should not last longer than 10 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion or 8 minutes plus 4 minutes for discussion, respectively. Please refer to the attached table for your relevant presentation slot. You are required to strictly keep to the specified times.
Video contribution by each speaker
As, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are unable to foresee whether or under what circumstances it will be possible to attend the event in person, it is necessary to at least prepare the congress as an online event. We would therefore like to ask you to also submit your presentation in the form of a video contribution, even if you are planning to be present at the congress and intend to give your presentation in person. Should you be unable to create a video, you can also submit a “narrated Power Point presentation” (i.e. a PowerPoint presentation with voice over) in addition to your regular PowerPoint Presentation.
The chairs of the presentation sessions need information about your CV for their introduction of your presentation. Please send an additional e-mail containing the information with which the moderator may introduce you to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Should you participate in the congress by using digital means, please send us your presentation in the form of a video contribution or as a “narrated PowerPoint Presentation” in addition to your regular PowerPoint Presentation. This will serve as a backup in the event that livestreaming will not be possible on the day of the congress. In this case, too, please make sure to keep to the specified presentation time.

Please assist us by also complying with the following requirements:

Posters should be prepared in the format Din A0 (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm). Please upload them as a high resolution PDF file to ensure a high quality print.
You have the possibility to create a descriptive audio file for your poster, which can be accessed by the conference participants in the virtual poster exhibition.
Contributions must be submitted by 5 October 2020 at the latest via the upload screen on the congress website. If we receive your contribution early, this will facilitate the further technical preparations for the event. Contributions submitted after the specified date will not be able to be considered.
